Everton v Stoke city Nov 30 News Updates

I think Stoke are starting to show they are starting to be very good, when you have been unbeaten for the time they have it shows they are clicking together,” said boss Roberto Martinez, via ESPN FC. I think they have kept things that the team was good at in previous seasons and that makes them a strong side who can hurt you in many different ways.

“I don’t think they have lost anything (in changing their style), they have added and are trying to be a bit more expansive and controlling games a bit more. Only time will tell but I do feel they have not made a radical change, they have adapted to a new style and whenever you face Stoke you are going to be in for a big game.

Aston Villa 6 v 1 Sunderland Nov 30

Sunderland have the division's leakiest defence and face a Villa side who recovered from a four-game run without a goal to score twice in each of their previous two top-flight outings.
Gus Poyet's side have picked up one point on the road in the League this season and have not scored away from home in the Barclays Premier League since August. Defender Carlos Cuellar misses out on a return to his former club due to a hip injury.

"Unfortunately we've lost Carlos for a few weeks," Poyet said. "But apart from that we should have practically the whole squad challenging for a place.Sunderland have fitness doubts over the availability of Keiren Westwood, Andrea Dossena and Modibo Diakite due to minor injuries.

Weimann returned from a hamstring injury as a second-half substitute this Monday as Villa fought back from two goals down to draw with West Bromwich Albion and feels Sunderland will be a different proposition at Villa Park this season.

It was the best game I have played in. It stands out above the rest," Weimann told the club's official website. "It finished 6-1 and you certainly don't see that every week.
"It will be a very different test this time around. Sunderland have a different manager and new players too. It will be a very tough game for us.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios Nov 24 News and Video Update

Posturing is plentiful, especially following this week's confrontation between the fighters' trainers. Pacquaio's Freddie Roach approached the ring the fighters share for training, claiming the Rios camp had exceeded its allotted time. What resulted was a skirmish and exchange of profanity.

Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios have been weighed, measured and found ready to fight. Their welterweight title fight figures to be a battle royale with the world, including a typhoon-devastated segment of the Philippines, watching via television.

HBO isn't worried about that as it packages Saturday's fight. It only wants a solid bout between arguably the world's most marketable fighter against an American opponent who has the power to knock out his renowned opponent.
